Arriving on the A12 Southbound (e.g. from Colchester)

Take junction 19 signposted Chelmsford and Boreham A130 At the roundabout at the top of the slip road – 3rd Exit (Signposted Chelmsford town centre) At the next roundabout – 4th exit into Generals Lane (Signposted Bulls Lodge Quarry) Follow directions “Generals Lane” below

(Note the A12 exit is approx 18 miles from the M25 junction) Take junction 19 signposted Chelmsford and Boreham A130 At the roundabout at the end of the slip road – 5th Exit A130 (last exit - turn right) At the next roundabout 3rd exit into Generals Lane (Also Signposted Bulls Lodge Quarry) Follow directions “Generals Lane” below

From the M11 Take Junction 8 – A120, Colchester, Braintree, Chelmsford From Stansted Airport join the A120 Colchester, Braintree, Chelmsford Follow signs for Chelmsford onto the A130 Follow the A130 to Chelmsford At the junction with the A1016 Take the first exit signposted A12 Colchester At the second roundabout with Sainsburys on your left. Follow the A12 Colchester sign (2nd Exit) At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit At the next roundabout Take the 3rd exit – Generals Lane - NOT the 2nd exit (A12 Colchester)

Generals Lane

Follow Generals Lane for just over 1 mile. Ignore the sign that says “No access or turning point for long vehicles beyond this point” – provided your vehicle is less than about 8m you should be OK. Also ignore all signs that say "Access to Mount Mascal Only". Generals Lane is quite narrow. After 0.5 mile you pass some traffic lights and a no-entry on the left to New Hall School, carry straight on. You pass a sign saying “Mount Mascal” on the right and shortly afterwards the road turns sharp left. At the group of buildings, go between the cream coloured house and the large barns with blue doors. We are at the back of the barns on the right. Please park next to our building.
